The Price Of Valor

I recently had the privilege of speaking with a young officer who left the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department on a medical (PTSD) retirement after 12 years of faithful and dedicated service.

Oh yeah, this fine man is the holder of five, that’s right, five medals of valor. This is bestowed by the “Crusade Against Crime” and has been hung around the neck of JC five times. Unheard of in police circles.

How can this be? Aggressive police work. Knowing the criminal element. Right place, right time. All of these played into the shootings, chases and, sometimes violent, take downs.

After an incident all the cops high-fived. Complements all around. Followed by the drinking until 4:00 AM. These monsters finally got the better of this fine man and he sought psychiatric help. OK, fine. Treated with a smorgasborg of pills that only added to the already volatile situation.

Referred to a psychotherapy group composed of court ordered felons attempting to avoid another stretch in the joint. No Help. Further into the abyss.

With the help of his wife JC found his way to a treatment center that specialized in veterans and first responders. This worked. Finally.

Departments throughout the nation must stop pandering to the criminal element and refocus on assisting officers in need of aid.

Keep The Body Cams

I recently read a report from the Washington D.C. Metropolitan police that showed that the body cams did not effect the use of force by Officers. OK, fine. This tells any objective reviewer of the study that the cops are acting professionally and use force as required by the situation.

A couple of cases come to mind. One in Baltimore where a detective shot an offender who was in the act of raising a gun. One can only suspect that the creep meant to shoot and kill the officer. (see “Cop’s Perspective” dtd 2/5/17)

Another incident happened in Rainbow City, AL. A wanted felon fled the cops and jumped off a bridge with the usual injuries associated with such a foolish act. The next day his family showed pictures of him in the hospital. Claiming, of course, mistreatment by the police. The chief immediately released the body cam footage of the incident that told a totally different and the truth about what happened. (see “Cop’s Perspective” dtd 7/20/17)

We can only imagine the unrest/riots that would have occurred if not for the unblinking eye of the officers body cam.

Wonder how the Michael Brown Jr. incident would have played out had officer Darren Wilson been wearing a body cam? Interesting thought huh?

Minneapolis Pols See A City With No Cops

With all the carnage in Las Vegas I didn’t think blogging about some dumb politicians was appropriate. Its been over a week since the madman rained down death and misery to our fellow citizens just out enjoying a Country Music show. Let’s all wait and see what the LVMPD and the FBI can come up with. Maybe a way to prevent this type of activity in the future…hope so.

Now it’s on to the antics of our favorite target of lunacy and madness. That’s right…2-bit politicians. This week from the city of Minneapolis.

A group called voices for racial justice sent a questionnaire to all the candidates for the city council and mayor. One of the questions was: “Do you think Minneapolis could be well served without a police department.”

Strangely enough a number of the candidates answered yes. This along with the usual dribble about the police getting closer to the community, restorative justice (whatever that is) and racism withing all ranks of the department.

Haven’t we all had enough of this balderdash. I certainly think so and the majority of the residences of Minneapolis do to.

No cops huh? Who ya gonna call…”ghostbusters.” Keep us posted on that.

MS-13 Leaders Tell Troops To Change Shoes

That’s right. An MS-13 “shot-caller” currently imprisoned in El Salvador recently sent word to his underlings to ditch the gang colors and the foot ware. Believing that the cops are focused on the colors and specific shoes and that’s how LE identifies gang members.

Gang members in the US are currently under attack by federal and local law enforcement. A number of MS-13 gang members have been arrested and charged with a number of violent crimes. After they serve their sentences it’s a one way ticket back to El Salvador.

I guess they like it here in the US and don’t want to be shipped back to Central America. So let’s just change our shoes and nobody is the wiser. we can keep plying our trade and employing our trademark of “Kill, Rape,Control”

Pretty sharp, these guys. Never mind that most of these banger’s are tatted to the max. Including facial, neck and throat tatts broadcasting who they are.

Yes sir, sharp lads indeed. Just change your shoes and you can skate by right under the cops noses.

Officer Shot By Punk Released On Felony Gun Charges

One must wonder when this BS will end. Don’t know if it ever will.

Last week a Yonkers, New York Officer was shot in the face whilst she and her partner were investigating a suspicious auto call. As they approached the car the 18YO punk shot the officer.

After a gunfight the suspect was taken into custody. Could this have been prevented? Hell yes!

The shooter was recently arrested by NYPD cops for carrying a weapon. In a duffel bag he had several other firearms, knives and a machete. it is interesting to note that this jerk had been arrested 23 times, is a convicted drug dealer and the prosecutors requested prison time. They made their case rather forcefully and told the judge this guy was going to shoot someone…they just didn’t know he would shoot a cop.

Aren’t we all getting tired of society failing to control those that need to be taken out of the mainstream and placed where their antics have no consequences on the general public.

Great work judge, too bad your not up for re-election.

The officer was treated and released from a medical facility and will be back on the job soon. May god bless the men and women of the Yonkers, NY police department and all who “Serve and Protect.”

St. Louis Cops Debunk Criticism Over Tactics

A former cop is acquitted in the shooting death of a heroin dealer. The usual suspects turn out to create a big ruckus over the judges decision. OK, citizens have the right to protest…within bounds.

Lately I’ve seen headlines saying that the cops used “heavy handed” measures to block/stop the protests. Let’s take a look.

Recently the SLMPD used a maneuver called “Kettleing” to corral and stop individuals from continuing to block traffic, destroy property and generally being a pain in the ass.

This only occurred after the remnants of the crowd were told via loud speaker that they were going to be arrested if they didn’t disperse. Testing the cops fortitude and resolve, a number remained in the street. They were “Kettled” arrested and booked on charges of assault, rioting, impeding the normal flow of traffic and disorderly conduct.

Those arrested were told numerous times to depart…did they? Noooo. What followed was a professional and swift removal of the offenders.

“I didn’t hear them tell us nothin’ like that.” Are you deaf, don’t understand English? The orders were given numerous times over loudspeakers that could be heard at the top of the Arch.

Get a life people! With the backing of the new MO governator and a police chief with a low “lunacy” tolerance the city of St. Louis is back and law and order prevails.

The St. Louis Unrest-A New Mindset

In 2011 2 St. Louis police officers,on patrol, observed what they thought to be a drug deal in progress. They attempted to stop the car occupied by the dealer. The car attempted to run over the officers and took off. A pursuit followed with the errant drug dealer crashing the car. One of the officers shot and killed the occupant.

After the DOJ and the then Circuit Attorney decided not to charge the officer the case was put on the shelf. Not so fast

STL RIOT — Do stupid things, get put in stupid positions. RUN TOM,RUN!

A new Circuit Attorney was elected in the last cycle and resurrected the case. She charged the cop with 1st degree murder.

The case was heard by a judge in a bench trial. The former officer found not guilty.

Enter the hoodrats and ever offended. “We’ll turn this city to ashes…” and other threats soon decended on the airwaves, print media and, of course, social media. Demonstrations and destruction were planned to take place over the SEPT weekend of 15-17th.

OK, demonstrations are part and partial to our constitution. Fine.

Area law enforcement made plans. The govenator said demonstrate peacefully and everything will be OK. Damage, destroy or interfere with police and arrests will be made. A far cry from the “hug-a-thug” mentality imposed by the former governor during the michael brown riots.

The cops were ready. Arrests made and the demonstrations fizzled. The news trucks packed up their “lets stir up a riot kits” and departed.

Never has St. Louis area law enforcement stood taller than this last weekend. Bless ’em all!

City Of Sacramento To Give $1,000 a Month To Thugs

After a slight interruption from hurricane IRMA, it’s back to blogging. I wanted to write something about this prior to the rude disruption. All’ s well so let’s get going.

After a deadly shooting involving gang supported rappers, the city of Sacramento, in the city father’s twisted thought process thought…hey let’s pay these thugs NOT to shoot. They recently funded a program to the tune of $1.5M to pay gangsters a grand a month if they would just stop shooting and killing each other.

Great. The program administered by a non-government agency, will identify “fellows.” They will be given behavioral therapy, life coaching and $1,000 a month.

I can just see the cops locking up some chump, I mean “fellow” after they just committed an armed robbery…”Hell yeah I held that place up, I can’t live on a grand a month.”

Hey Sacramento, how about funding a gun squad to go after these guys and put them where they belong.

Ponies and ice cream for everyone but a 1,000 scoots to a thug for not shooting? This has success written all over it. I’m sure the behavioral therapy and life coaching, what ever that is, will play a big part in the programs success.

What are they thinking?

Sheriff Removes “Blue Lives Matter” Flag From Break Room

Yup, this nutjob is at it again. This time removing the “Blue Lives Matter” flag from the Multnomah County Courthouse police officers break room. This is where the cops go to review their cases before testifying and other criminal justice related activities.

Seems like one of the “Ever Offended” county commissioners walked by and observed the flag. After a period of counseling and recovery she demanded that the Sheriff remove it. Why? Because it stands for the raciest police/law enforcement and is offensive to “people of color.” Oh grow up!!

Wonder if the black cops are offended by the flag to honor the fallen? Probably not.

You may recall this guy released a violent, deportable criminal alien to prey on the citizens of Portland. And prey he did. Sexually assaulting 2 women. (See “Cop’s Perspective” 8/1/17)

All he had to do was call ICE. Not hold the mope more than required by Oregon law.

Another 2-Bit Politician Shows Her Ignorance…And May Regret Her Statements

On Feb 21, 2016 2 Seattle Police detectives were conducting an investigation attempting to locate a suspect wanted on a drug warrant. During the course of the surveillance they observed a violent career criminal, Che Taylor. He appeared to have a weapon. The detectives knew Taylor had just been released from the Department of Corrections after serving 23 years for home invasion and rape. Additionally he was a suspect in a murder where the victim was beaten to death with a hammer. A fine, upstanding citizen to be sure.

The Detectives called for backup. When the arrest team arrived they approach this creep and ordered him to show his hands. Did he? Of course not. He went for the gun and his ticket was cancelled on the spot.

The officers came under scrutiny of the department and a inquest jury. The prosecutor found them to be in compliance with existing state and federal laws as well as department regulations.

End of story? Hell no!!

A Seattle alderboob publicly and continuously called them “racist murders” based on “racial profiling and a racist attitude .”

This goof called a press conference in front of Police Headquarters and repeated her accusations along with stating that she had additional evidence supporting her statements. No evidence was ever produced.

Having had enough of this silliness the 2 cops filed suit in Kings County Superior Court claiming that she intentionally defamed and ruined their reputations by her repeated selacious statements.

When will these idiots learn to keep their mouths shut on matter where they have no knowledge of or speak against the actual facts and circumstances.

The officers are sueing her personally. I, along with other cops accross the country hope these guys are successful. What are these goofs thinking.
