Blackwell, OK LT Finally Has Charges Of Murder Dismissed By OK Court Of Criminal Appeals
Remember LT John Mitchell of the Blackwell, OK PD? He’s the Officer who, on may 20th, 2019, got a report of a female riding around town shooting at people, places and things. That’s right she shot at pedestrians, cops, statues and storefronts. Pretty dangerous to the people walking around town I’d have to say.
LT Mitchell and a couple other cops catch up to this raving maniac. Does she pull over? Of course not. She starts a running gunbattle with the cops. A number of shots were fired with LT Mitchell getting the kill shot. OK, after a police shooting the incident is reviewed. This time by the OK State Bureau of Investigation. After a review of the facts they determined it was, in police parlance, “a good shoot.”
Not so fast. District Atty Jason Hicks, the DA from another area of OK took the case to the grand jury and got an indictment. The district court threw it out. The prosecutor appealed, same result. Still not satisfied he took it to another court…no dice. Then this DUMB AZZ took it to the Appeals Court. Thrown out with a 5-0 opinion.
LT Mitchell can breath a little easier but should he have been put through all the BS brought about by a fool shooting at people from her car…Hell No!

LAPD K-9 Finds Dope, Money And Guns…Inside Vending Machine
One of LAPD’s newest and BEST drug K-9’s was asked to search a business. The search, in furtherance of a narcotics investigation by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.
K-9 Bosco went directly to the soda vending machine. He then sat, wagged his tail excitedly and made soft whining and growling sounds. In human/english that means “there’s dope and other stuff in here!”
The cops opened the machine. Sure enough it was full of heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, money and an AK-47 knock-off. Not bad for a 2 YO dog who’s been on the job for only 6 months. Bosco’s handler said” “he’s one of the best and has a brilliant career in front of him.” Couldn’t agree more.
LAPD and the Ventura County Sheriff didn’t have much to say about the find. It’s an ongoing investigation and more arrests and seizures are anticipated. Drug dealers in the LA area beware…Bosco’s on the hunt for your stash!
The fbi showed up later but left when no news cameras were spotted.

I’ll Have A Warden Burger…No Fries
In Butler County, OH the Sheriff, Richard Jones, has come under fire for serving, what the inmates call, The “Warden Burger.” Not only for lunch but for all three meals. This tasty treat is reserved for those foolish enough to get thrown into solitary confinement. The stay in solitary is only 10 days and the goofs secured from the general population whined about the food.
Seems they get the “Warden Burger”…and what a treat it is, served up for EVERY meal whilst the 8-Balls are in solitary. The meal consists of a burger made from, get this, cabbage, carrots, tomato paste, potatoes, onion, ground turkey, beans, oats, dry milk, celery and a pinch of salt. Sounds great.
Sheriff Jones said, ” These burgers are loaded with much needed fiber. That’s a good thing.” He also said that the meals are prepared by a dietician and meet all the requirements under Ohio laws and regulations…or something like that.
Note to inmates: If you don’t want the “Warden Burger” for every meal don’t do stupid stuff that earns you a trip to solitary. Carry on Sheriff Jones!

Federal Judge In Seattle Strikes Down Property Damage Law
If you thought it couldn’t get any worse in the once beautiful city of Seattle get this. A federal judge said that Seattle’s property damage law that prohibits graffiti and damaging or destroying another person’s property is not valid. She said the ordinance …”Is overly broad and could violate people’s rights under the 1st and 14th amendment.” HUH?
How about the person’s right to have and maintain their property only to have a bunch of goofs come along and destroy or defile their possessions and property. Apparently this didn’t come into the thought process whilst claiming that the law violate other people’s rights.
No wonder the tax paying families and businesses’ are bookin’ outta Seattle. Remember when all this BS started and the city brain(less) trust wanted to have a “summer of love?” How’d that work out for everybody? Oh, not so good huh? If you live there get your bad self out. If your a cop you should have bounced a long time ago. The Officers that stayed, be very careful and get out as soon as possible.
Come on down to FL where the pay and working conditions are a hell of a lot better that seattle!

Tempe,AZ Police Officer Selected As Miss Arizona
Seems I’m always writing about a cop getting shot or killed. Been a lot of that lately. Recently saw that a Tempe, AZ cop won the Miss Arizona contest and will soon compete for the title of Miss America. Not bad for a street cop, not bad at all.
The Officer, Candace Kanavel has been “on the job” for 6 years and is a hostage negotiator and a member of the Departments SWAT Team. Also quite an accomplishment for an Officer.
Officer Kanavel will use her platform as an Officer and Miss Arizona for her program of empowering girls and women to strive to be the best they can and strive for that goal we all set. Her designation also shows women that being a Police Officer can be rewarding in more than one form.
Congratulations to Officer Kanavel and the members of the Tempe Police Department. Kinda nice to write a story like this rather than the tales of cops being injured or killed in the line of duty.

2 Denver Cops Shot Within Hours, Separate Incidents
Last week a Denver Police Officer was parked in his marked SUV. A fool comes up to the car and starts shooting through the passengers side window. The Officer is struck several times. Did he give up…hell no. He exited his car and engaged the assailant. Rendering the fool DRT. Of course the CBI, the DA’s office and the DPD are all investigating to see if the shooting was justified. Well it was! So clear the Officer, let him recover and get on with it.
A few hours later another whackjob was popping off a bunch of rounds at ??. The shotspotter picked up the gunfire and the Denver cops were all over it. When the 8-ball saw the cops he took off on a motorscooter (sharp dude) whilst shooting at the cops. One of the Officers was hit in the chest. The shooter was struck several times.
What the hell’s goin’ on in Denver. Hey you jerks that want to shoot at cops you can knock it off or wind up with a bunch a bullet holes…your call.
The Officers were wearing their vests and probably saved both their lives.

Trailer For New “Michael Brown Jr. Didn’t Have To Die” Movie
Former GRPD Officer Chris Schurr’s Trial Set For OCT.
Chris Schurr a former GRPD officer who shot and killed a violently resisting and wanted person last April will go to trial this OCT. You may recall the Officer stopped a car on a SUN morning and got into a tussle with the driver. The suspect (driver) attempted to grab Officer Schurr’s taser. When he wouldn’t release the ECD Officer Schurr, following the use of force continuum, shot the violently resisting suspect.
This brought the usual hue and cry of white cop, black guy and the usual cast of race pimp lawyers and bogus “men of the cloth.” All with an eye toward a share of the reward from the city etc. Ya know the checks always get cashed.
Let’s take a closer look. Officer Schurr had 2 formal complaints. He also had seventeen letters of commendation in his HR jacket. Here’s a bulletin for ya…any active and hustling cop is going to ruffe some folks feathers at some point.
The mope that resisted and got shot for his actions had a long and violent history of domestic abuse, DWI, assault, auto theft and resisting arrest. A fine upstanding Congolese immigrant , to be sure. All this at 26 years old. Damn, he was off to a great start.
Chris Schurr NEVER should have been charged. Hope the prosecutors feel good about taking this to a jury…don’t think I would.
