August, 7th, Nightwatch, not much happening…and then, beep, beep the alert toner squaked. “Man With A Gun-Threatening 3 Children” The 2 Officers that got the call responded. Their eyes and ears focused on the area of the report.
“There he is, running down the street.” The Officers bailed and took off after the goof. He was outpacing both. One of the Officers spotted an Uber. They flagged the driver, Anthony Baines, entered the car and told him to “DRIVE, after that guy” One of the Officers said.
Baines quickly turned around and followed the Officers directions. Although a valiant attempt to catch the interloper, he made good his escape.
