If you’ve ever been to ‘Norlns, you may have noticed that the 8th District is responsible for serving and protecting the “French Quarter” entertainment area. This would include making sure the area thugs aren’t carrying iron. A recent law allowed open carry…except within 1000 feet of a school. Hummm.

Someone thought it would be a good idea to classify the District Station a Vocational School. Seems one could make a case for that.

It is unlawful to carry a weapon, open or concealed within the limits of a school. The cops have been advised that they may search anyone who they think may be carrying a firearm.

Excellent tactic but will probably be challenged by the cop hating crowd. Wonder what they’d say if one of them got shot? Probably say the cops aren’t doing enough. Good Luck NOPD. Pretty smart move. Carry on!
