TOY GUNS MUCH MORE THAN A TOY

I RECENTLY WROTE A BLOG ABOUT A KID GETTING KILLED AFTER HE PULLED A “TOY” GUN ON POLICE OFFICERS.  I THOUGHT THERE’S MORE TO THE STORY.

THE US DEPARTMENT OF SOMETHING OR ANOTHER REALIZED THEY COULD NOT STOP THE STYLE OF TOY GUNS SO THEY CAME UP WITH AN IDEA.  LET’S MAKE THE TOY GUNS HAVE A BRIGHT ORANGE TIP.  CHAMPAGNE CORKS POPPED AND BACKSLAPPING REACHED ASTRONOMICAL LEVELS.  WELL, THAT’S TAKEN CARE OF…NOW IT’S OFF TO MAKING VIDEO GAMES MORE VIOLENT.

BACK TO THE GUNS.  TODAY KIDS GET THE TOYS AND, I KNOW THIS IS ASTOUNDING, PAINT THE ORANGE TIP BLACK.  THUS MAKES THE TOY LOOK LIKE THE REAL DEAL. THIS HAS RESULTED IN A NUMBER OF DEATHS.criminal-guns

NEXT PAGE.  THE CRIMINALS GET THE REAL GUNS AND PAINT THE TIPS A BRIGHT ORANGE.  GEE, WHODA THUNK IT?

AT SOME POINT IN THE NOT TO DISTANT FUTURE SOME COP WILL SHOOT A KID BRANDISHING A “TOY” GUN.  ADDITIONALLY, AN OFFICER WILL GET SHOT BY A CRIMINAL WITH A REAL GUN ALTERED TO LOOK LIKE A TOY.

STAY SAFE, BUCKLE UP AND WEAR YOUR VEST!!cop-fake-guns
