Naperville, IL Cop Cleared For Shooting “Hatchet Man”

Well, no kiddin.’ Back in June a Naperville Officer had a person stopped for a traffic infraction. As the officer was speaking with the errant motorist a car stopped nearby. A fool got out of the car and came after the cop with a hatchet in his right hand. I don’t think he wanted to discuss the weather or anything else for that matter.

The Officer, a 22 year veteran immediately pulled his weapon, ordered the goof to stop. He then engaged the chump with the ax and placed a few in the X ring. The nut job had his ticket cancelled. The body and dashcams recorded the incident in detail. The Officer’s situational awareness functioned at peak efficiency. The traffic violator skated.

Last week the DuPage States Atty. and a bunch of other agencies’ that look into officer involved shootings finally resolved the matter. They came to The conclusion that the officer was justified in shooting this whack job!

In actuality this matter should have been resolved in about 15 minutes. All they had to do was review the camera footage and speak to the driver of the car the Officer had pulled over.

PS: A POX upon Kevin Newcomb!

Peace
