Judge Orders LAPD Not To Accept Complaints Without Warning That False Statement Is A Crime

Available at amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com

Recently a judge in LA ordered the LAPD NOT to accept any complaints filed by a citizen without the warning that making a false statement against a police officer is a criminal offence.

What…rerally, a judge actually ordered this. Thought that would be a standard part of the complaint. Guess not in the land of the enlightened.

Gonna bet this stops a number of these false, fabricated and bogus complaints. Officer’s would not be taken off the street whilst the incident is investigated. His/her personnel record will not be blemished with an unsubstantiated beef. Maybe some of these foolish activities will stop, or at least be reduced. Be great to see some goof get a little time over filing a false complaint.

An “activist” said “…this will have chilling effect on someone who wants to file a complaint.” Hope so.

A most merry and safe Christmas and New Year to all!!

Peace.
