Last week Franklin County, OH (think Columbus) Jason Meade’s bogus trial ended in a mistrial after jurors failed to make a determination as to the Officers guilt. He was charged with murder in the case where he shot and killed a doofus pointing a gun. The Deputy said, on the stand, “I thought he was going to kill me.”

The courts throughout the land have viewed the situation through the eyes and thought processes of the Officer. I’d like to think that anyone pointing a gun at you would constitute the use of deadly force…and it’s a dumb thing to point a gun at a cop. All the suspect had to do was follow the officers commands to stop and drop the gun. Seems that a portion of the population just can’t understand how simple that is.

The progressive DA said he’ll think about a retrial. Give it a break. You and the Sheriff need to grow a set and stop harassing this fine Officer. End of rant, carry on!

Peace
