Last week an off duty St. Paul Officer was having dinner with his family at a local restaurant. Whilst enjoying the tasty entree he noticed some mope-azz hanging around the front of the locale. He looked “suspicious.” Cops know when something is about to go down.

The suspect pulled a large knife and demanded the $$ in the cash register. The off-duty cop then entered the affray. He ID’d himself and relieved the fool of his knife. He and the restaurant owner then detained the goof until the arrival of the constabulary. He was taken into custody and booked for a bunch of serious charges.

Here’s the kicker…the States Attorney issued on ALL charges.

Maybe the restaurant owner will pick up the tab next time the Officer and his family sit down for a meal. Just goes to show ya, Cops are NEVER really off duty!

Great job Officer, you made the city and your family proud! Carry on.
