WAR ON COPS-PART 2

JULY 7TH I POSTED ABOUT THE WAR ON COPS AND GAVE STATISTICS THAT SHOW SHOOTINGS OF POLICE ARE ON THE RISE.  I ALSO SHOWED THAT SHOOTINGS WHERE POLICE OFFICERS ARE MURDERED ARE ALSO ON THE RISE.  COMPARED TO LAST YEAR SHOOTING WERE UP 59%, MURDERS OF POLICE OFFICERS WERE UP 21%.  THOSE STATS WERE BEFORE THE MASSACRE IN DALLAS.  NOW, THOSE COLD, HARD NUMBERS ARE OFF THE CHART.

YET WE HAVE POLITICIANS AND doj REPRESENTATIVES SAYING “THERE IS NO WAR ON POLICE.”  I AND COPS ACROSS THE NATION BEG TO DIFFER.  THIS IS THE WORST ATTACK ON POLICE SINCE 9/11.  THIS IS ONE SET OF STATS THAT CAN’T BE ARGUED.

OUR PRESIDENT, ON JULY 7TH COMMENTED ON THE SAD STATE OF RACE RELATIONS.  HOW A CERTAIN SEGMENT OF OUR SOCIETY IS TREATED DIFFERENTLY.  IN ESSENCE, BLACK CITIZENS ARE PREYED UPON BY OUR COUNTRIES COPS.  MR. PRESIDENT, REALLY?

COULD THESE WORDS HAVE INFLAMED THE DALLAS SHOOTER?  COULD THEY HAVE BEEN INTERPRETED TO LEND VICTIM-HOOD TO THE PEOPLE WHO SHOT POLICE OFFICERS IN GA, TN AND IN BALLWIN, MO ON JULY 8TH?

OUR PRESIDENT SHOULD, FROM HIS BULLY PULPIT, ADVISE ALL OF HIS COUNTRYMEN TO OBEY THE LAW.  THAT WE HAVE MORE IN COMMON THAN OUR DISLIKES.  THAT WE ALL HAVE TO LIVE ON THIS PLANET UNTIL WE DEPART AND MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, EVERYBODY NEEDS TO TAKE A STEP BACK AND TAKE A DEEP BREATH.  NOT PRAISING THE blm CROWD WOULD CERTAINLY BE A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

WAR ON POLICE, WHAT WAR ON POLICE?  NEXT EVENT, THE REPUBLICAN CONVENTION IN CLEVELAND.

GOD BLESS MEN AND WOMEN OF THE DALLAS POLICE DEPARTMENT AND MAY THE VICTIM’S FAMILIES FIND PEACE.

STAY SAFE, BUCKLE UP AND WEAR YOUR VEST!
