CHICAGO PD-THE BEGINNING OF THE END?

A CHICAGO POLICE OFFICER SEES A YOUTHFUL APPEARING BLACK MALE WALKING DOWN THE STREET.  HE OBSERVES A BULGE IN THE SMALL OF THE PEDESTRIANS BACK.  A BULGE THAT CAN ONLY MEAN ONE THING.  A GUN.

THE OFFICER DRIVES PAST.  COMPLETING HIS TOUR OF DUTY WITH NO TRAFFIC TICKETS, NO CONTACT CARDS AND NO GUN.

A protesters yells at a Chicago Police officer at a bicycle barricade on Chicago's Magnificent Mile Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, in Chicago. The Christmas Eve Day protest calling for the resignation of Mayor Rahm Emanuel is the latest in a series of demonstrations in the city since the release last month of police video showing a white officer shoot a black teenager 16 times. SUCH IS THE CURRENT STATE OF AFFAIRS AT THE CPD.  A PROUD AND PROFESSIONAL ORIGINATION, DESPITE THE MISLEADING AND DISINGENUOUS PRESS CITIZENS ARE EXPOSED TO.

IN ADDITION TO THE “FERGUSON EFFECT” WHERE THE COPS ARE CRIMINALS AND THE OFFENDERS ARE VICTIMS ANOTHER LAYER OF BULLSHIT HAS BEEN LAID AT THE FEET OF THE RANK AND FILE.  THE aclu HAS BECOME INVOLVED IN POLICE WORK.  THAT’S RIGHT.  THE CITY AND THE aclu ENTERED INTO AN AGREEMENT WHERE OFFICERS MUST FILL OUT A TWO PAGE REPORT WHEN CONTACTING A CITIZEN.  OK, COPS ARE USED TO UNNECESSARY PAPER WORK.  THEY’LL WORK THROUGH THAT.

THE CONTACT CARDS GO TO THE aclu FOR REVIEW AND CRITIQUE. THE COPS DON’T MIND THE PAPER WORK, BUT TO BE REVIEWED BY THE aclu..NO THANKS.  SO A GUN WASN’T TAKEN OFF THE STREET AND ANOTHER MURDER OR SHOOTING OCCURS.  THE HOMICIDE RATE AND AGGRAVATED ASSAULT NUMBERS GO THROUGH THE ROOF.  WHAT WOULD YOU DO IN A CULTURE THAT CHASTISES GOOD AGGRESSIVE OFFICERS AND LIONIZES THE CRIMINAL?

STAY SAFE, BUCKLE UP AND WEAR YOUR VEST!!
