The spineless Chief of the Santa Rosa PD took down a “Blue lives Matter” Banner donated to the department by a number of residents who appreciate the work of law enforcement.
A segment of the city thought the banner to be frightful, demeaning and a bunch of other stuff the ever offended say about a lotta things they disagree with. A “Blue Live Matter” banner being the most prominent at the moment. Tomorrow these folks may be offended by someone wearing an “Old Guys Rule” T-shirt. I just found mine.
The chief and mayor after hearing from about 3 or 4 angry people immediately took down the banner. They then declared how sorry they were if somebody got a “butt-hurt” over the banner. They also said the “Blue Lives Matter” representation will no longer appear on the departments facebook page and other police documents. Oh man, I sure hope the residents feel a lot safer now.
One must wonder just how in the hell did a flag, banner or insignia meant to honor and respect our nations police become a symbol of hate and acrimony for the weak of mind and intolerant souls?
Peace
