Are you a supporter of Law Enforcement? Active or retired cop? Not a cop but support the men and women of Law Enforcement? If you answered YES to any of these questions I urge you to check out LAW ENFORCEMENT TODAY and BACK THE BLUE!
These sites give you the “latest and the Straightest” from a Law Enforcement perspective. I strongly recommend you to check these out…tell ’em Ken sent ya. Thanks
On to the subject at hand. Last year 132 officers died in the line of duty. 47 by gunfire. 293 were shot. Some wounds were superficial…some much more serious.
The total numbers show a drop from 2018 but still NOT acceptable. Improvements in training, equipment and tactics have impacted the numbers. Let’s all strive to make 2020 even safer.
Being in Law Enforcement bring on stresses and demons not seen in other professions. last year 220 officers died at their own hand. Let’s watch out for our brothers and sisters. If you think they may be having some issues, reach out. Offer you hand, you ear and your assistance in any manner possible. I always hate to hear of a police officer suicide. I’m sure you do to.
Peace
