Grand Rapids Cop Who Shot Resisting Offender has Steller Record…Not So Much For Man Shot

In cops perspective post dated 4/17/22, the shooting of a goof on a simple traffic stop is detailed. The officer observed a car with plates that didn’t match. He asked the driver for his license and the situation elevated to the point where the cop shot and killed a resisting suspect.

The hue and cry went up. You know, the usual yang about this poor guy being shot by the poilice. Hell, the funeral was even officiated by the most reverend and bodacious al sharpton. After which he solicited donations to his…(insert opinion here.)

The Grand Rapids Chief came out with the officers name. Seems this cop has a damn good record. Numerous letters of accommodation and accolades from the chief and citizens. Dilligent, resourceful and dedicated. The kind of things all Departments want.

The person shot, not so much. 2 convictions for assaulting females, 2 convictions for stolen vehicle offences and 3, thats right 3 DWI pinches. Oh yeah, when he was shot his blood/alc. level was .29. Apparently this guy liked to imbibe.

He was from the Congo and had been in the US for several years. How many times do we have to say this? Just cooperate with the cops and everybody goes home safe and sound…if not you may face dire consequences.

Peace
