FERGUSON-THE LATEST IN THE CONTINUING SAGA

WELL IT FINALLY HAPPENED. FACED WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF OVERWHELMING DEBT, IF THE CITY FOUGHT THE DOJ SUIT, THE CITY FATHERS DECIDED TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT. PITY. THE PEOPLE DESERVE BETTER, MUCH BETTER.

THE DOJ IN IT’S AMATEURISH AND FLAWED INVESTIGATION OF THE FERGUSON POLICE DEPARTMENT, MANAGED TO BRING FERGUSON TO IT’S KNEES. AND WHY NOT. THE DOJ HAS BATTALIONS OF LAWYERS AND A BOTTOMLESS POT OF TAXPAYER DOLLARS. THE OVERREACH OF THE GOVERNMENT IN THIS CASE IS DEPLORABLE AT BEST.

THE FPD HAS EMBARKED ON A NUMBER OF INITIATIVES TO INCREASE EFFECTIVENESS AND TRANSPARENCY. THE GOAL BEING TO BRING PREMIUM LAW ENFORCEMENT TO A POPULATION IN NEED.

THE CITY OF FERGUSON WILL HAVE TO FORK OVER MILLIONS, IN SCARCE TAX DOLLARS, IN ORDER TO HIRE A “MONITOR” FOR THE BOGUS AGREEMENT. OF COURSE, THE MONITOR WILL HAVE TO BE PROVIDED WITH ADEQUATE SPACE AND A STAFF OF (INSERT YOUR FAVORITE NUMBER HERE) TO FULFILL HIS/HER DUTIES. TAX DOLLARS THAT WILL NO LONGER BE GENERATED BY THE BUSINESSES THAT WERE BURNED AND DESTROYED BY THE “PEACEFUL PROTESTERS. THESE “AGREEMENTS” CAN LAST GENERATIONS. GOD HELP US!!

TO ALL POLICE OFFICERS: STAY SAFE, BUCKLE UP AND WEAR YOUR VEST!!

  1. Funny you should mention the “SAGA.” I’ll be forwarding some email material to you prior to your mid December visit to St. Louis that have to do with the DOJ.
I have by the way, talked to Sutton on several occasions…he’s a bright gent and up to speed on the issues…all the same I think there are some tidbits we could suggest to round out the list of items needed to get the LEO back on his/her feet.
Since Ferguson is now a legal term and turf we know better than folks on the west coast, I ‘spect we are well positioned to offer a few items to the laundry list.
    Stay Well
