SRO Update-Alexandria VA and Seattle Want Their SRO’s Back!

Earlier this week the city council of Alexandria, VA met in emergency session. The meeting called as a result of pressure from parents and school officials…they want the SRO program back !!

The board votes 5-4 to reinstate the program. The 4 dissenting votes better be able to justify their positions come election day.

Now, on the other coast, Seattle educators and parents demanded the SRO program be re-started at all high and Jr, high schools.

Seems the fools run rampant on both coasts. In Seattle 2 groups of juvies got into a big tiff…then the pistols and semi-automatic rifles were pulled and pointed at each other. The cops arrived in time to defuse the situation…this time. After another close vote the program got the green light.

Kinda funny how those knee-jerk decisions come back to haunt those who make such quick and foolish decisions.

Peace
