Where have you been Mr. mayor. Since this stupid law was approved by the legislature violet criminals have been getting free passes.

I did a little digging. The law, passed in 2019, says that no cash bail can be granted for misdemeanor and non-violent felonies. Just how did this “enlightening” piece of legalization slide downward to the point of letting VIOLENT felons get a free pass, time and time again. Maybe the judges and prosecutors thought that’s what the people wanted. Don’t think so.

Citizens and cops are leaving the city like gangbusters. Who wants to go to work on a subway where robberies, assaults’ and other assorted criminal activities take place. No one wants to ride a public transit system where people take a leak or otherwise relive themselves.

An additional slap in the face occurred when the 16YO punkazz that attempted to beat up a cop for jumping a turnstile asked the judge, at his arraignment “When can I press charges against that cop?” This after the judge let the creep go AGAIN. Disgusting!

Peace
