Mayor In OH Says Ice Fishing Will Bring A “Surge” In Prostitution

That’s right, the mayor in Hudson, OH when asked to speak about a bill before the board to allow ice fishing on local lakes said “…It’ll bring a surge in prostitution.” HUH?

He said those concerns were based on his prior experience in TV news and reporting experience. Funny, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a story about hookers and ice fishers. Then the chief said “He’s not aware of any prostitution activities in the city, however, if anyone has any information about prostitution, please call.”

Well, maybe hookers aren’t a big deal in Hudson but if ice fishing is allowed it may become a flourishing business.

After a lengthy discussion the council voted to allow ice fishing. The mayor resigned the next day. Maybe he’s not the guy to make these high powered and life threatening decisions. Carry On!

Peace
