In Curry County, OR Residents “Detain” Arsonist By Tying His Butt To A Tree

In Curry County, OR someone saw a goof lighting fires in the deep forest. The forest is populated by those big azz sequoia’s and a bunch of other evergreens and assorted flora and fauna (remember that from a biology class) The ground has a lot of dried branches and leaves. Great for starting a BIG forest fire.

The Forest Service fire spotters noticed a bunch a smoke and put out the fires before they became national news.

Several locals saw this creep strolling down one of the forest roads and attempted to detain the firestarter. He would have nothing to do with this and resisted. The residence’s quickly gained control and tied him to a tree and took off his “Hush Puppies” to await the constabulary. Oh yeah, seems the lad got a bit of a “tune-up” attempting to flee the area. He was taken into custody, treated at a local hospital for a broken nose and assorted abrasions and deemed fit for confinement. He’s facing a bunch of local and federal charges.

A mighty tip o’ the Cop’s Perspective hat to those alert and dedicated folks who prevented this offender from making good his escape.

Peace
