FL Sheriff Tells Homeowners To Shoot Burglars…WOW!

In the free state of FL the Sheriff of Santa Rosa County recently went on TV and social media to tell homeowners to shoot burglars. This after a “frequent flyer” was apprehended after he tried to break into several homes. One resident took a potshot at the aspiring criminal bur missed.

The Sheriff Said, “If somebody is breaking into your house, you’re more than welcome to shoot them. We prefer that you do actually.” He then cited the FL statute that allows a person to “Stand Their Ground.” Unlike the liberal states that would have you book from the area…but be sure to get a good description so we can catch them later. Sure

For those that are a bit rusty when it comes to shooting skills the Sheriff said, “We have a gun safety class that we put on every other Saturday and if you take that you’ll shoot a lot better and hopefully keep your family safe.”

No wonder folks are flocking to FL. Oh yeah, if you come down be sure to visit the magic kingdom. Carry on Sheriff!

Peace
