CA Governator Says Cops And Firefighters First To Face Layoffs If State Not Given $$

He’s at it again. That’s right CA gov newsom (D-Cops, we don’t need cops) says that if the federales don’t give CA a bunch of $$, first responders will be the ones to lose their jobs.

“…The next time they wanna salute our heroes, consider the fact that they’ll be the first ones laid off by the cities and counties.” Yes, he really said that!

The mayor of San Diego pushed back saying in a tweet, “No police officers or firefighters will be used as leverage to balance my budget.” The mayor also sighted recent efforts in recruiting and retention of cops.

Way to go Mr. Mayor. This thing will sort itself out sooner or later…hopefully sooner.

  1. Nancy Pelosi- can deal w/it- seeing she has all answers!!! It is her STATE ???

    1. nancy is hiding. Her press conferences are just terrible. Maybe all those homeless folks in her district can camp out in her front yard. Stay Safe! Ken

  2. Oh sure jam it on the police and firemen , get the citizens scared . They just keep threatening . Then they won’t buy enough cars and trucks for these divisions . It just goes on an on over and over.

    1. True enough. Don’t know how the gov. can withhold funds from local jurisdictions. Sounds like he’s just threatening, like you said. Man, I hope this thing gets resolved soon and the state opens up. Take Care and Stay Safe. Ken
