A FEW THING COPS WANT YOU TO KNOW-PART 2

policemanTHANKS FOR YOUR FEEDBACK.  I APPRECIATE IT AND IT’S GREAT THAT WE CAN ALL LAUGH ABOUT SOME OF THE THINGS WE HAVE COME ACROSS DURING OUR TIME “PROTECTING AND SERVING.”  LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT A FEW MORE THINGS COPS WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW.

  1.  I DON’T NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED LAST WEEK, MONTH, YEAR.  I NEED TO KNOW WHY I’M HERE RIGHT NOW.
  2. JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE IS FOUND “NOT GUILTY” DOESN’T MEAN THEY ARE “INNOCENT.”
  3. NO, I DO NOT KNOW WHO YOU ARE NOR DO I CARE WHO YOU MAY KNOW.  IF THEY WANT TO HELP YOU OUT OF THIS SITUATION WHY DON’T YOU CALL THEM.  I’M SURE THEY WOULD BE GLAD TO HEAR FROM YOU.
  4. IF YOU ARE KIND, COURTEOUS AND POLITE, I WILL GLADLY RETURN THE FAVOR.
  5. THE BETTER A COP DOES HIS JOB THE MORE LIKELY THEY WILL BE SHOT, INJURED, COMPLAINED ON, SUED OR BE SUBPOENAED ON THEIR DAY OFF.
  6. THERE IS NO MACHINE ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH THAT A COP CAN DROP AN EYELASH INTO AND COME UP WITH FINGERPRINTS, MUGSHOT, NAME AND ADDRESS IN TWO MINUTES.  IT’S TV PEOPLE!!
  7. IF YOU GET A WARNING TICKET FROM A MOTORCYCLE  COP OR A TRAFFIC CAR…GO BUY A LOTTERY TICKET.  YOU ALREADY BEAT THE ODDS.
  8. POLICE WORK IS…WRITING REPORTS.

NUMBER 8 IS THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH.  AFTER THE CHASE/APPREHENSION/CRIME(INSERT ANY VIOLATION HERE) THE MAJORITY OF A COPS TIME IS REALLY SPENT WRITING REPORTS.  AFTER A BIG DRUG BUST AND HIGH FIVES THE DETECTIVES RIDE OFF INTO THE SUNSET…NOT!!

THANKS FOR VISITING AND STAY SAFE.  SEE YOU SOON.

  1. The media is now talking about non violent First Offenders crowding the nations prisons.
These so called non violent first offenders have: (in the span between their 16th and 18th birthday)
    Been released on time served.
    Put on Probation.
    Put on Community Service
    Put on Supervised Probation.
    Given a Suspended Sentence
Finally the day comes and all the options have been tried, off the the Penitentiary with chew.
